We celebrated Halloween...

I think this holiday was a lot more fun having a daughter that was excited about it. She has told everyone that she was going to be Dora and go trick-or-treating since she received her costume for her birthday. We started the three day celebration (none of which was actually on Halloween) back at Gardner Village to see the witches with our friend Crystal. I promised Nora that we would see the Witchy-Poo and take a picture, so here it is.
She loved all the pumpkins, and wanted to show Crystal everything.
Then on Friday we went with our other friends to the pumpkin patch to find pumpkins so we could make jack-o-lanterns that night. Nora was not very excited about it... until she was able to ride in the wheelbarrow.
This is her good friend Jayden, and they love to play together. Thanks Jayden for waiting a few days so we could go to the pumpkin patch with you. (We were supposed to go earlier in the week, but Nora and I ended up at the Doctor to find out she had a double ear infection. So they waited for us to go another day.)
Then came the big day of trick-or-treating. We were able to take Nora on Saturday night. Grandma and Grandpa Korth came over for soup, and Grandpa walked around with Nora and Beau to get all the candy. Grandma Cindy gave Nora this trick-or-treating basket for her first Halloween, and Nora was so excited to carry a happy pumpkin around. She didn't even need candy.
She went to many houses, and was able to say "trick-or-treat" and "thank you." If they had her say trick-or-treat again, she decided she could take more candy, and they let her (thanks Joni). I'd say it was a good experience for everyone.
These are the long johns we put on under Nora's costume. She loved the "jammies" almost as much as her costume. And you can see she already had some great candy to leave all over her face.
